Eucalyp radiata species is high in 1,8 cineol, also known as Eucalyptol. Eucalyptol is an oxide and a cyclic ether. It is recommended that Eucalyptus radiata is inhaled to help open the bronchial tubes (airways). Mostly used for the treatment of chest ailments, the Eucalyptus radiata species is known as a more gentle Eucalyptus species because it has a lower concentration of Eucalyptol (around 60-70%).
